Over some years now the Central Business District of Kumasi Metropolis have been Battled with recalcitrant petty traders who do trading along the pedestrians walk way (pavement) causing conjunction, heavy human traffic and also prevent free movement of people who troops in the metropolis to do their business.

We Praise the Mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Hon.Osei Assibey Antwi and the various technocrats of the Assembly tremendous effort towards the relocation exercise of our multitude desperate traders to a well established spacious market place,which was handed over to us Wednesday, 27th February, 2019 through the collaboration of KMA and Ghana Railways Authority to help decongest the CBD.

Hon.Osei Assibey Antwi is one of the finest Mayor that have been appointed to the metropolis before and he deserve our endorsements because of his hard work. The welfare of the people too is one his priority especially traders.

We shall compel with the orders of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly to relocate all our members who trade at Dr.Mensah , in front of Hello FM, A life and Adum footbridge areas to the recognized jurisdiction prescribed by the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly to commence permanent business .

We promised Hon. Osei Assibby Antwi and the entire Assembly that we shall abide with the mandatory bye laws governing petty trading in the Central Business District in other to eliminate recalcitrant traders from the metropolis as part of the Assembly ambition.

In other to improve the sustainability of the market from collapsing,we have decided to volunteer to setup a taskforce among ourselves to collaborate with Assembly city guards to deal with our own colleagues who will violate the orders and trade outside the market or along the pavement to make sure we have our Garden City back to exist.

On Friday, 1st March, 2019 over thousand memberships of the Association in collaboration with the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly will officially organize a massive float on the principal street of Adum and Dr.Mensah of the Central Business District to create awareness of relocation to Old Kumasi Railways Station market.
