Hotel Mr.Alfred Osei Owusu has called on government to spare the indigenous private companies who use their capital to invest in the country with at least 10% tax rebate to be able to establish industries and factories to support unemployment youth to get access to job and also support the socioeconomic wellbeing of the people leaving in the country.
According to him,a lot of indigenous private companies are collapsing over high taxation rate which discourage most of these investors from setting up companies to help minimize the unemployment crisis in the country.
The private sector contributes a lot into country’s economy but the government take’s advantage of them as their sources of income drilling site usually with high tax charges .
He added that ,the government should implement policies that will favour the private sector in terms providing conducive atmosphere for the private sector contribute its quota without difficulties.
He said they can be given tax exemption for about 5 years, after they have been fully sustained in the business environment before paying their tax returns to the government.
” I have the passion to establish more businesses to help employ enough unemployed graduates in the country, in other to support their livelihood, but the country’s taxation policy rate is too cumbersome to me as businessman “,he stressed.
Mr. Alfred Osei Owusu made this appeal to government during the commissioning of Grovenest Inn Hotel at Breman- UGC in the Ashanti region.
