GOV'T MUST ESTABLISH RECYCLING PLANT FOR PLASTIC WASTE,ASSEMBLY MEMBER SUGGESTED

The Assembly Member for Breman East Electoral Area in Suame Municipality Hon.Joseph Asarfo has called on government to establish Recycling Plant in the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies to recycle plastic waste which has been one of the major sanitation challenges facing the country Moment.

According to him,plastic waste includes polythene bags,plastic bottles,etc last for many years without decomposed, which pose a serious threat to the Country as well as environmental degradation issues is concern.

He suggested that ,the government can collaborate with private partnership participation companies whose focus is sanitation to set up plastic waste recycling plant to deal with only rubber made products to another form which can benefit the entire country after using the plastic products.
The recycling of the waste products can help minimize the National cankar (Sanitation challenges)and also will help the government save the money allocated for fighting against sanitation issues in the country.

Hon. Joseph Sarfo advised Ghanaians to be discipline on how waste is dispose to the environment unconcern.

He made this appeal to government yesterday when he led the electoral area in cleanup exercise towards Otumfour Osei Tutu ll 20 years Anniversary .
